Meet Lora

Hi, I’m Lora—a mom, a traveler, and a planner at heart, and the person behind Suns Up Travel. I truly believe that the right trip at the right time can change everything. Travel has always been more than just a getaway for me; it’s a chance to reconnect, celebrate milestones, and sometimes simply come up for air during life’s heavier seasons.

I started Suns Up Travel because I saw how overwhelming planning a trip can feel—especially when life is busy, seasons are hard, or you’re trying to make a vacation truly meaningful. Whether it’s a once-in-a-lifetime family trip, a milestone birthday, a graduation gift, or a much-needed escape, I love helping people turn “we should really do this” into “I’ll never forget that.”

I understand how valuable time together is—and how powerful travel can be. My goal is to remove the stress, handle the details, and create trips that allow you to fully show up, relax, and enjoy the experience.

On a personal note, I’m someone who loves a cup of hot tea, morning sunrises, paddle boarding, and most of all, spending time with my family. Being a mom shapes everything I do, including the way I approach travel—thoughtfully, intentionally, and with heart.

When you’re ready to go, I’ll be here—tea in hand, passport ready, and excited to plan something unforgettable with you.

High School Trips

I’ve also made a promise to my own kids to take them on one-on-one vacations every year they’re in high school. These trips are our special time to connect, explore, and create memories that we’ll carry with us long after the journey ends. They’ve shown me firsthand how transformative travel can be—not just as a break from life, but as a space for growth, conversation, and meaningful connection.
